a while back, i had an obsession with smoothie bowls. mostly because the options are endless and i love layers and adding colors when presenting food. lately, i've really been into the idea of spreading hummus/yogurt/ or almond butter onto pita bread and then layering it for a fun earthy look. i'm also able to sneak in some healthy nuts and such when serving these to M! ;)
for the ones above i used spinach hummus (recipe here), topped it off with some cucumbers, figs, chia, and berries. the second one is more of a breakfast pita. it includes cream cheese, pumpkin seeds, bananas, almond butter, and blackberries
